Sometime yesterday afternoon, after I posted about steeply-discounted Wolverine 1000 Mile Addison 2nds, Sierra Trading Post listed Wolverine’s flagship 1000 Mile boots, too. A few of you got in touch to let me know (thank you!), but in the interim, word got out at Reddit’s frugalmalefashion and Dappered, and now the selection is pretty limited. There are still a few Brown boots (pictured above), but most of what’s left is Tan and a very handsome Black colorway. Much has been written about the nearly century-old 1000 Mile boots, so I there isn’t much I can add in that regard, but I should note that, like the Addisons being sold on Sierra Trading Post, these boots are also seconds, with very slight blemishes or irregularities. Also, I’ve read that Sierra Trading Post will ship your boots for free if you order through their iPhone or Android apps, but I haven’t tried this myself. As before, this is a highly unusual discount. Take a look before they’re all sold out.
